Who Attends at Your Homebirth?
Dr. Thyr attends to you with an assistant, who is usually another fully trained midwife or is a midwifery student.
You may also invite your own supporters, including family and friends, who may make you feel more comfortable.
What is Needed for a Homebirth?
Doctor Thyr comes to your home with all of the supplies necessary for the birth. Before the event, families usually order a few additional supplies and may opt for a birth tub. Dr. Thyr’s supplies include an O2 tank, medications, herbs and homeopathics, IV supplies, suturing materials, and supplies for blood draws.
